yes, i’m a preferred photographer!

Preferred photographer. It’s a buzz word you hear a lot in the photography world and to us photographers, it’s a great word to hear! For you, the reader and client you may not know what that word means or why it’s so cool. Keep reading.. I’ll tell you all about what being a preferred photographer is and why you want to be sure your senior picture photographer is a preferred photographer. Not only does having a preferred photographer make your life easier, but you can be assured your pictures are perfect and submitted to your school correctly. 

So what is a preferred photographer? Basically, when you are a preferred photographer, you are on a selective list at different schools. The schools send out this list to incoming seniors every year. The schools know these photographers do an amazing job and they want their students to use these specific photographers. These photographers also know the exact size, resolution and crop that those schools require for the pictures in the yearbook. These schools are choosy about who they put on their preferred photographer list and each photographer has to show that they have the picture quality the schools desire. I am so honored to be a preferred photographer at multiple high schools in Denver and I have gotten to know so many students from these different schools. I have gotten to know these schools well and I can make life easier when you’re submitting your picture for the yearbook. I’ll be sure it’s perfect, ready to go and will look stunning in the yearbook! 

I wanted to list out all the high schools that I am a preferred photographer for. If it’s written out for all of you to see, you’ll be able to easily see if your school is on the list. Don’t see your school? That’s ok! I can still take your pictures and I will still be sure you are taken care of.
