WHere can I take senior pictures in colorado? our 3 top picks for your senior vip experience3/22/2022
I remember being a senior and being SO excited about so many things. Being the top of the school, the last dances, wondering whats next, and of course senior pictures. Though getting my senior pictures done seemed low on the list at first. I felt like my mom had it all squared away and I was just along for the ride. Don't get me wrong I loved my pictures, but I didn't get too much of a say on where they were taken! Looking back I wish I would have been able to pick my where! Sarah Lindsay Photography wants you to decide where your pictures are taken. Except you might not know where to even begin! No worries, we are here for every step. And here's a list of our top 3 locations... :)
#1: Standley Lake in Westminster
This has been by far our clients top pick for years It really is hard to beat if you ask me! Standley Lake offers many different backdrops and is beautiful no matter the season. In the spring, you've got the flowers starting to pop, the water is more calm, and there is often less wind. In the summer, the grass and trees are full and oh so green. The water has a beautiful wave to it and the little summer breeze adds movement to photos. Then in the fall, the tall grasses with the sunlight adds a beautiful golden glow to each photo. It's beautiful in each season! You cant go wrong!
Not only is it beautiful, you get a range of photos. Standley Lake has bridges, benches, and pergolas that are fun for close ups. It has the back drop of the mountains or the lake and the green is endless. You get a little bit of everything here. Peep the photos for examples!! #2: Red Daisy Farms in Brighton
This is a newer favorite, but I'm not complaining! Red Daisy Farms is such a fun location. The owners of this farm grow their own flowers and make their own bouquets so their gardens are ah-maz-ing. If you are looking for a backdrop of bright colors, this is your location. You will go between the rows of flowers for pictures. A fun, rural, country like location.
Now I know what you are thinking... are flowers all they have? Quick answer, no. There is a natural looking pool for water pictures and silos/barns for a more urban backdrop. If I could go back in time, I would pick here for my senior pics! I can't get over how beautiful and different this location is. #3: Mt Falcon in MorrisonOur third pick is Mt. Falcon! This is a much more mountainy, rural location. But trust me when I tell you the views are hard to beat and the sunlight up here is to die for. You can pick out each peak and sometimes even see the ski areas. If you are looking for a scenic, beautiful glow to your pictures, I would highly recommend here.
