Senior blog time and this week and I am so excited to introduce you all to Grace. Grace is such a beautiful, energetic and unique person and I enjoyed getting to know her more during her senior photoshoot. Grace is a senior at Westminster High School and has made a lot of good memories there. She has achieved so much as a student there and is really excited for what the next step has in store for her. Grace, I hope you remember this day forever and thank you for choosing me to take your senior pictures. The studio was a great place to start the day with Grace. She brought along two blue dresses to wear at the studio and let’s just say blue is a great color for Grace. The first blue dress was a beautiful, long elegant gown with lace sleeves. I am such a fan of lace and I think it adds a timeless feeling to senior pictures. For these pictures, Grace brought her flute with her. She said she has been playing the flute for 7 years. I am so proud of Grace for learning a musical instrument and sticking with it for so long. I think that shows great character and work ethic on her part. She obviously has a passion for music and that showed in her pictures. I’m glad she brought something so meaningful to her to take some pictures with. She will have these pictures forever and it’s a great way to remember what is important to you in this time. Grace also had a shorter blue dress she brought for her second outfit in the studio. She paired it with a cute little pair of cream colored shoes and honestly, it was my favorite look of the day! For her location shoot, Grace chose to go to Red Daisy Farm. Like all the other sessions we’ve had there, the scenery was stunning. Grace was a beautiful model at the farm and the pictures we got were so fun and unique. We got some amazing golden hour shots while Grace was wearing a golden yellow overall dress. The gold of her dress with the gold of the scenery was a wonderful combination. Grace was glowing the entire time! Grace had a cranberry red dress she changed into and we had her lay in the grass. I loved the contrast between the red in her dress and the vibrant green of the grass. I loved the colors we were able to photograph and this combination made for really striking pictures. The water is definitely a favorite spot at Red Daisy Farm. For this area, Grace had a black dress with a white lace cover. This outfit next to the water was perfect. It was soft and dreamy and I love how these pictures turned out. Grace, thank you again for spending the day with me and trusting me to get these beautiful pictures for you. I hope you love your adventure at Red Rocks after graduation and you are going to rock cosmetology school! As high school comes to a close and uneasy feelings of missing friends and no longer being a kid start to bubble up, just remember that you are starting the adventure of a lifetime and you’ve got lots of people rooting for you.
