Megan class of 2021: Senior VIP experience at standley lake

Megan and I connected from the first time we met at her Design & Wardrobe Consultation. She is a swimmer and loves the water so of course we had to incorporate that into her shoot. She had also seen photos of the parachute dress and fell in love with it so we added that to her shoot as well.

The day of her session was a little windy but luckily, at Standley Lake, there are many beautiful spots to photograph that block the wind. It eventually died down and we were able to move to the beach for her parachute dress shots. Immediately after putting on the dress, Megan lit up. She started dancing and twirling all around the beach. You could tell she felt absolutely beautiful. This also created some gorgeous shots for her Senior VIP Experience.

As the sun was setting, Megan changed into her final outfit and we got in the water. Since Megan loves the water, she hopped right in and had no problem getting her whole head wet.

As we were walking back to the cars, Megan's mom told me that her daughter was glowing and this was the happiest and most confident she'd seen her in a while. I can't believe I get to do this every day - boosting girls' confidences and making them feel like the queen they are. I feel so grateful!
