Another senior we are so excited to talk about on this blog post is our girl Maddie! Maddie is a gem and one I am truly honored to spotlight for you. As with all of the clients I work with, I loved helping Maddie choose her outfits before the big day. She wanted a good mixture of outfits ranging from a beautiful flowing gown to a cute white sundress to her classic jeans and a cute flowy sweater. I love helping girls find the perfect outfits before their photo shoot and Maddie was no different. She chose a wide range of outfits that really celebrated her and what made her feel confident. I loved our studio shoot with Maddie because every outfit she put on, she looked so confident and excited for the day. She even had her sister join her on during her studio shoot. Their special relationship was so apparent and they even had fun making funny faces during some of the photos. Don’t ever be shy if you want to bring your sibling or friend to your shoot! You’ll appreciate having these memories forever. Maddie brought her step- dad’s fire fighting jacket and hat to the photo shoot. I love that she wanted to honor and have her dad with her during this photo shoot. What a sweet gesture and an amazing relationship she has with her step dad. After our studio shoot, Maddie chose to go to the Denver Botanic Gardens. I love this location for a few reasons. First, it’s outside so we get beautiful lighting. Second, it’s the botanic gardens… there isn’t an ugly spot in the entire area. Every location you go to you get stunning photos and we can have a lot of fun and get creative. Lastly, well.. Maddie’s photos make the last reason I love the Denver Botanic Gardens very apparent. Just look at how they turn out when we are there… ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. I loved Maddie’s fun personality shine through when she pulled out her beautiful black sun hat. The edgy and yet laid back feeling you got from that outfit was so striking next to the greenery around her. Maddie is part of her school Color Guard so of course she had to bring her flag! I loved watching her twirl and throw that flag in the air. She looked beautiful in action and I give her major props for being able to do that because I don’t think I’d even be able to attempt to throw and catch something like that. I love strong girls!! Maddie, I am so proud of all you’ve accomplished during your high school career at Standley Lake. You were such a joy to work with and I know you will do great things for the world.
