I loved this senior photo shoot with Lauryn so much and I have been dying to write her blog for some time so here it is! I had so much fun with Lauryn in studio and on location and I can’t wait to tell you a little bit more. Lauryn is such a sweet soul and her personality is energetic. She was so fun to be around and as you can tell from her pictures she had a blast. One part of the day she said was so fun was getting her hair and makeup done at the studio. She said it was relaxing and it was great that she didn’t have to worry about it prior to the shoot. I think when seniors embrace their senior picture day the way Lauryn did it makes the day so memorable for you and for me. Plus, I capture beautiful genuine happiness… if you don’t believe me just look at Lauryn’s pictures. We started in studio and Lauryn was the perfect model. We had fun taking photos with her in her letterman jacket, a casual outfit, a super cute and unique pink pant suit and the best outfit of the day, a vibrant red off the shoulder dress with a fun and flowing bottom. I loved the variety of outfits Lauryn brought to her photo shoot. Every outfit showed off a different aspect of her personality and also what she is most proud of. I love letterman jacket pictures. It is a great way to celebrate your accomplishments and be proud of all you’ve done leading up to this point. Lauryn is an accomplished soccer player and also participates in track and cross country. I love that her pictures get to show off all of her hard work! Plus, she brought a confetti canon. I’m so happy she brought it and she even chose red confetti to match her high school colors- go Horizon! But let’s just talk about the red dress. She had so much fun in that dress and the bottom flared perfectly. She looked like the emoji.. you know this one 💃🏻 The second I saw her wearing it and we had it flare out that’s all I could see. I think we all had a blast at the studio but when we got to Red Daisy Farm, we had even more fun. Lauryn chose to go to Red Daisy Farm for her location photo shoot. Red Daisy Farm is a favorite and never disappoints. We found some beautiful flowers and she brought a cute little checkered picnic blanket which made her outside pictures feel more laid back. Lauryn mentioned that this was one of her favorite parts of the day. Being able to explore the different poses outside and really being part of the location was memorable. I love the fun stair case at Red Daisy Farm. It’s up against one of the charming metal buildings. This little area has so much character and it’s a good spot to have the classic stair picture with some fun added unique elements. When sunset came, it is the best time to get beautiful golden hour pictures and of course some water pictures. Lauryn had a stunning white lace dress that was the perfect match to the blue of the sunset sky. It was a beautiful way to end a wonderful day! Lauryn, I had the best time spending the day with you. I’m so happy you chose me to take your pictures and I’m so excited to see what you do after High School. I know you’ll do great things during your next big adventure. Go chase your dreams of being in sports medicine or kinesiology- You’ll be amazing! You’re a wonderful person and you’ll do wonderful things in this life. I can’t wait to see all you accomplish!
