Hooray for another senior blog! This week, I’d love to tell you more about Ralston Valley High School senior, Caitlin and her amazing senior photo shoot. Caitlin is just one of those people you can’t help but love the second you meet her. She’s so genuine and her smile is contagious. I loved getting to know her more and can’t wait to show off her pictures to you. Caitlin, I hope you love your pictures and I had a blast spending time with you. Our day started in the studio. Caitlin put on one of our beautiful pink dress from the Client Closet that looked almost fairy like. The gorgeous off the shoulder look was so unique but that light pink was so striking against the grey backdrop. I loved the light coming from behind her that just tied the whole picture together. Caitlin also brought a cute casual look to her studio shoot. Jeans, a graphic tee and a striking leather jacket pulled the whole outfit together. I always love a leather jacket- a little mix of classic, casual and edgy all in one and Caitlin pulled it off 100%. Caitlin loves music, especially records so she brought her favorites to pose with. She mentioned when she goes to college she hopes to join a music group there. I love her passion for music! Caitlin had a variety of records she brought and we had a lot of fun getting pictures with them. I thought her idea of bringing her records was so unique and special. It’s so special when girls bring items that are meaningful to them and her records were such a great idea. She really embraced her true and authentic self and it showed through in her pictures! Caitlin chose her location shoot to be at the Denver Botanic Gardens. This is a great location because we really get beautiful, unique, timeless pictures. There are so many locations to play with there and so many gorgeous backgrounds. Caitlin brought an adorable blue dress with a classic cardigan to go on top. The blue dress was so complimentary to the greenery around her. She also had an emerald green dress with a stunning cut out on the back. Her neutral shoes pulled the whole look together and she exuded confidence in this dress. The icing on the cake, though, was the iconic parachute dress. It never disappoints and the purples and pinks in the dress against the green backgrounds was absolutely stunning. Caitlin even mentioned that the parachute dress was her favorite part of the day! She said she would usually feel insecure about people looking at her but in that dress she felt so confident and beautiful that she didn’t mind the people watching her at all. Caitlin, you don’t know how happy that made me to hear that and I hope it’s a memory you can keep with you forever. Never forget that confidence, you are beautiful and strong. You’ll go far in life! Caitlin was such a joy to be with and her senior photo shoot was such a memorable experience. I am so happy I had the chance to work with Caitlin and feel so honored to be a part of her senior year. Caitlin, I know you’ll do wonderful things in your life and I can’t wait to see you do amazing things at CSU. You will rock the accounting world for sure. Thank you again for letting me capture your senior pictures!
