Congratulations to Chloe!! She is a senior at Colorado Academy this year and I’m here to tell you all about her senior photo shoot at Mount Falcon Park. I love this location and Chloe looked amazing there. I loved spending the day with Chloe. Anyone could spend just a couple minutes with her and they’d want to be her best friend. She is so sweet and fun to be around. She will do great things in the world! I love that Chloe wanted to take her pictures at Mount Falcon Park. It’s such a pretty spot and she made the location look even more beautiful. I love that she wanted to have pictures outside. The beautiful greenery around her was so stunning. I also love that she wanted pictures during golden hour. I just love the way these pictures turned out. Light and airy but also warm. Fun and light hearted but timeless and classic. I love that she had a few pictures taken with her mom. I love mother daughter pictures. They are just so special and if you have a good relationship with your mom then these pictures are ones you’ll want to keep forever. Chloe and her mom are just the cutest together and I know they’ll love these pictures for a long time. When it comes to style, Chloe was a fashion master. I love that she went for outfits that were more laid back, boho-ish and also stunning all at the same time. I love that her outfits are so timeless but also show off her style and personality so well. All of her outfits not only flattered her and showed off her true authentic self, it enhanced the natural scenery around her. The outfits added to the location but didn’t deter from the greenery. I love that Chloe opted for understated but glamorous all at the same time. She had gorgeous relaxed beach waves for her hair style and her makeup was perfect. It highlighted all the beautiful parts of Chloe but it wasn’t overdone at all. Chloe, you looked absolutely stunning for these pictures and I’m so glad I got to be a part of your big day! Chloe, you are such a great person and I’m beyond grateful we got to spend the day together. You will do great things in this life and I’m so excited for your senior year and beyond. Thank you for choosing me to be your senior picture photographer and I’m so glad you love your pictures as much as I do!

School starts this week for the majority of students and I want to welcome the Senior class of 2024 to their last year of high school! What a fun and memorable time you are about to embark on. I am excited to see what you are going to accomplish this year and this blog post is for you. To the seniors I’m celebrating this year… I hope this year is the best one yet ☺️ Now that your senior year is here I want to talk about all the amazing things you’ll experience. Of course… to start your senior year, I hope you had your senior pictures taken. If you haven’t, this is your sign from the universe to do that soon. But more on that later. First I want to talk about your senior year and all you have to look forward to and what you should keep in mind this year. This is your last year in high school and the last year you’ll be with the people you know. You will embark on a huge journey after graduation so I really want you to be sure you cherish every moment of your senior year now. If your friends invite you to a football game, say yes. If you are asked on a date with the person you’ve been eyeing for months say yes. If you have a class that you know will challenge you but you’re interested, take it. All the things you want to do I encourage you to do and take full advantage of it. Because this is your last year and you should make the most of it. Here is where I’m going to get real with you though. Can you believe there are people who still haven’t scheduled their senior pictures? Please don’t let that be you. Year books have deadlines for when your senior picture can be turned in and photographers are pretty booked up at this point. I would hate for you to decide you actually want senior pictures taken and it’s too late. You won’t get the photographer you want and you definitely won’t have the experience you want if you wait any longer. So this is me talking to you- as a friend. If you haven’t gotten your senior pictures taken yet… PLEASE DO THIS ASAP! Your senior year is here and you have such an amazing journey ahead of you. I want you to take your senior pictures so that you can have those pictures forever. Remember this moment and take your senior pictures for you. Your here. You made it to your senior year. There are going to be so many amazing memories you will make this year. You’ll have so many laughs, tears, love and everything else under the sun. I want this year to be your absolute best. So get your senior pictures taken. Soon. Take all the excitement and run with it. Congrats to your senior year! I can’t wait to see what you accomplish.
I am so excited to show case this amazing senior for you today! Nyah is an amazing young lady and her photo shoot was one for the books! Nyah is a sweet person and so smart, talented and amazing overall. I am excited to showcase Nyah for you today and hope you love her pictures as much as I do. Do you have a favorite picture? Let me know in the comments below! Nyah is a senior at Ralston Valley High School. She is incredibly smart and also very talented. Nyah is part of the Pom team and also part of the varsity golf team. She told me that she loves high school, especially football games. I am excited she gets one more year of amazing times with her friends and I hope her senior year is full of moments that are memories she’ll be happy to look back on forever. She chose to go to Red Daisy Farm, which is a fan favorite here at Sarah Lindsay Photography. She said she wanted to take her pictures there because the location is so diverse and has the aesthetic she was going for. She wanted cowgirl and beautiful. That’s exactly what she got. I love that she knew what she wanted in her pictures and was able to figure out a location that would get her exactly what she wanted. The forward thought is what I love!! I also want to showcase her studio shoot… The gold parachute dress and the beautiful lighting just makes her pictures truly amazing! What do you think? I want to high light a couple outfits Nyah brought to her senior shoot. She had a huge variety of outfits and every single one was an amazing choice. She had the casual ripped jeans, tennis shoes and crop top. I loved that she chose something laid back because it shows off her fun side and it’s a timeless look. I love that Nyah wanted to bring her pom uniform! She brought the pom poms and everything. I am always excited when girls bring their uniforms. Whether it’s cheer, swim or running. No matter what you’re into, I think it’s important to highlight that in your senior pictures. To fit the cowgirl theme Nyah brought the perfect cowgirl outfit. A cute blue skirt and shirt combo with white boots. Of course she had a hat to go with it and it was definitely the outfit to go with the theme! By far, my favorite outfit she brought was a mint green tule dress. It was so unique and beautiful all at the same time. I loved this dress because it was something I have never seen before. It fit her personality so well and she looked stunning it in it! Nyah told me that after high school she plans to go to college out of state. She would like to go somewhere in the SEC and she looks forward to exploring what is outside of Colorado and learn the culture of college and different places. I’m so excited to see your adventure unfold, Nyah! You will do great things and the world is yours. Thank you for trusting me to take your senior pictures- it was an amazing day!!

Until then, let me tell you some more about her senior picture shoot and I want to show off her pictures!! Kathleen chose to have her Iconic senior session at the RiNo District. I love this location for so many reasons. It’s funky, artsy and really gorgeous. If you are looking for a city vibe to your senior pictures, this is the location I’d recommend. There are tons of colors and textures which makes any outfit you choose to wear pop. This location never disappoints! Kathleen said she chose this location mainly for the bright colors and the murals. She says she enjoys graffiti and the artwork in the area so it was an easy pick for her. Kathleen is one amazing girl and she had so much fun during her photo shoot. She had a gorgeous black fishnet sweater with jeans for one outfit and for her other outfit she had an amazing blue sweater shirt. I love the textures of both of these sweaters and it adds so much to her pictures. I love that Kathleen chose outfits that show off her personality. Kathleen has big ambitions to be a hair and makeup artist or a full cosmetologist and esthetician. after she graduates from high school. She plans to attend school in California to chase her dreams. She attends Columbine High School and has done amazing things while she was there but being a hair and makeup artist is her life’s dream. She is a talented dancer and has been dancing at Littleton Contemporary Dance Center. Amazingly, Kathleen has also been taking up skateboarding! You go girl. I am so excited when girls bring props to their senior shoots and I’m thrilled Kathleen brought her makeup brushes with her. Your senior pictures turned out absolutely beautifully. You will be such a wonderful hair and makeup artist one day and I hope your senior year is the best year yet.
