Megan & Chester - Westminster City Park

1/16/2016

Megan and Chester met through mutual friends at Bar Louie in February 2014. They saw each other, their eyes locked, and they all but ignored their friends as the chatted and flirted the rest of the night.
On March 25th, they finally went on their first date.  Chester took Megan to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and then took her to see Chicago at the Denver Center for Performing Arts.  After that night, they knew they had found "the one" and decided to move in together just three months later.
On December 12th, 2015, Chester proposed by hiding a pickle ornament in their house and challenging Megan to find it.  For anyone who hasn't heard of the Christmas tradition, "Find the Pickle", if you find the hidden pickle ornament, you get a prize - Megan's prize was a gorgeous princess-cut diamond ring.

For their engagement session we chose to start our cold and snowy shoot at the Promenade Shops in Westminster, near where they first met at Bar Louie.

To this day, Megan and Chester are still smitten with each other and it was adorable to see their love come through during their engagement session at the Promenade Shops.

Although this cute couple were freezing in January's cold air, Chester kept Megan warm with his frequent kisses - the hot coffee probably helped a little too.

Who couldn't say no to a little snuggling and sipping of Caribou Coffee!?

Megan and Chester basked in what little warmth the January sun gave them and reminisced about the night they met at Bar Louie at the Promenade Shops in Westminster.

We moved to the even colder and snowier fields of Westminster City Park. Fortunately for me, they were really good sports for being so cold!

It had to be Megan's beautiful eyes and adorable smile that made Chester fall in love so fast...

The sun began to set behind the mountains as we took our final shots at Westminster City Park.

I'm sure Megan wasn't expecting this gorgeous diamond ring to be the prize for finding the pickle.  Needless to say, she probably won't ask questions next time Chester asks her to find the hidden pickle.

I feel so humbled and honored to have been able to capture Megan and Chester's love - you two are truly an amazing couple.  I can't wait for your beautiful wedding in June at The Chateaux at Fox Meadows!

Love,
Sarah
