Everyone knows that the type of food you put into your body dictates the quality of energy you will get out of your body. So when it comes to the stress, nerves, and anxiety your body goes through on your wedding day, carefully choosing the foods you eat can make a world of difference.
I have always been fascinated with food and how it effects my mood and my body. I have also been plagued with an incredibly "nervous stomach" my entire life. Anytime I have an important event, interview, or even a work meeting, my stomach goes nuts. It ties itself in knots, I get diarrhea (gross, I know...), and sometimes I feel like throwing up. But knowing I needed to eat something and necessity being the mother of invention, I finally developed a Food Formula the kept me satisfied and energized even when my stomach just said "no". I am sharing that formula with you today!
Wedding Day Food Formula: Protein + Fiber + Good Fats = quality, sustained energy. You will want to steer away from sugar, alcohol, caffeine, dairy, and empty calories as these can lead to bloating and a major blood sugar crash right before your ceremony turning you into bridezilla!
